Tour the Burroughs
To truly get an appreciation for the Burroughs Home you must take some time during your Fort Myers car rental travels to take the 30-minute tour. This "Living History" tour is given by guides costumed in style of the WWI era. They portray members of the Burroughs family as they were when they purchased the house in 1918. The Home is open to the public for guided tours, Tuesday through Friday, 11am to 3pm, on the hour, mid-October through mid-May. Luncheons are also available. Group tours are by appointment however.
Hosting At The Burroughs
Today the home encompasses over two acres of oak-shaded lawn that has become a popular site for hosting weddings, special business events, and conferences to small intimate luncheons. The Home can accommodate a wide range of events of up to 500 people. Still have doubts?
